A massive thank you to everyone who turned out for the Community Bulb plant today (22nd September). Around 60+ volunteers, including Cubs, Beavers and Gateway Sunday School planted nearly half a ton of bluebells and daffodils on the main roads of Marshfield and Castleton from Ty Mawr Lane up to Castleton Village Hall on Marshfield Road, on St Mellons Road, Wellfield Road and around Marshfield Village Hall. We are sure we will all enjoy their efforts in the springtime.
We also had a great turnout for the Leisure Consultation and we are counting the votes cast and reviewing your comments. The winner of the Under 18s prize draw was Elliot White, Age 6, from Mallards Reach, who voted for the playground at The Meadows.
