Marshfield Community Council is holding a public meeting to discuss a planning application for a large solar farm in our community. Details of the application can be found at www.bit.do/solar2 We hope to have representatives of Newport Planning Authority, representatives of the developer Phoenix Capital R-Energy Ltd and the local campaign group Keep Us Rural present to discuss the application and to answer any questions you may have.
This is the first of a number of applications that may affect our area and we want to gauge public opinion so that we can formulate our policy towards them. The Community Council’s initial response can be seen in the earlier post below.
