A community group led by Jayne Constance is seeking volunteers this Sunday morning, October 31st at 10am to help put the poppy display on the lamp posts on Marshfield Road, St. Mellons Road, St Mary’s Church, and the A48 westwards towards the petrol station and eastwards to just past the Coach and Horses pub.
Please meet at the village green (Groes Corner) junction of Church Lane and Marshfield Road.
Bring Hi Viz and a step ladder if you can – permission has been sought from Newport City Council and volunteers will work in teams of three.
